Zeno is sold as one product with an optional industry module on top. Everything in the shared workspace and everything in Books is in every plan; what the plan decides is which industry module you can switch on. Billing lives at Settings → Billing.

What every plan includes

What an industry module adds

An industry module is the operational half of the app: its own records, its own sidebar, and its own billing and reporting on top of the same books. A plan carries one of them, chosen at signup. Change which one from Settings → Billing.

The plans

The monthly rate is the same either way you pay. Annual billing charges ten months for twelve, so a year on Core costs 2,490insteadof2,490 instead of 2,988 and a year with an industry module costs 3,990insteadof3,990 instead of 4,788 — two months free. Pick the cadence at signup and switch it later from Settings → Billing.

Running more than one industry module

Each industry module past the first is 399/mo∗∗,or∗∗399/mo**, or **3,990/yr — the same as the first one. Two modules is 798/mo,threeis798/mo, three is 1,197/mo. An organization holds one industry module today, so a second one isn’t something you can add yourself. Email sales@zenorent.com and we’ll set it up.

The trial

Every plan starts with a 14-day free trial.
  • No card. Signing up asks for nothing but your Google or Microsoft account.
  • Full access to everything your plan covers, including the industry module you picked.
  • 14 days from signup, whether or not you subscribe during them. A banner across the top of the app counts them down.
  • Email at three days out, one day out, and on the day it ends.
Subscribing during the trial doesn’t cut it short. Billing starts on the day the trial would have ended, so you’re never paying for days you were promised free. Subscribe after it’s lapsed and billing starts that day.

Subscribing

From Settings → Billing, choose a plan, add a card, and confirm. Card details go straight to our payment processor — Zeno stores a token, never a card number. Changing plan takes effect the moment you make the change. Moving up mid-period raises a one-off invoice for the difference on the remainder you’ve already paid for; moving down credits it the same way. Cancelling takes effect at the end of the period you’ve paid for, and Settings → Billing tells you which date that is. Nothing changes until then.

When a payment fails

An auto-charge that doesn’t land moves the account to Past due. Access stays full and we email you, then keep emailing once a day for seven days. Update the card from Settings → Billing and it’s over. If those seven days run out, the account is suspended, which means read-only.

What read-only means

Two situations put an organization into read-only: a trial that lapsed without a subscription, and a suspension after the past-due grace ran out. They behave the same way. Nothing is deleted and nothing is hidden. Every page still opens, every report still runs, and every export still works — you can always get your own data out. What stops is changing anything: no new invoices, no categorizing, no edits. Settling up from Settings → Billing restores writing immediately.

Organizations billed by Zeno Services

Organizations set up by Zeno before self-serve signup existed are billed under their own agreement, on module flags and terms agreed directly with us. Settings → Billing shows a subscription managed by Zeno Services rather than plan controls, and none of the plans on this page apply to them. Nothing here changes what those organizations can reach, and no trial or suspension applies to them. To change an arrangement like that, email support@zenorent.com.
