Settings (under More in the sidebar) covers everything about your organization and your account. Some pages are available to normal organization admins, while a smaller set is reserved for super admins.

Company

Organization name, address, tax ID, and logo. Used on PDFs, emails, and the login screen.

Users & Permissions

Add or remove team members and assign roles.
  • Admin — full access, plus user management and impersonation
  • Manager — org-wide nav (Reports, Contacts, Documents, Audit Log) without admin powers; counts as at least manager tier in every module
  • Member — full app access except admin settings
  • Expense Reporter — restricted to Expenses; can submit and track their own receipts; no access to other modules
  • Reviewer — a flag on top of any role; required to see the Review tab in Expenses and Books
A user can belong to multiple organizations; an Organization Picker in the top bar switches between them.

Module permissions

Global roles set a floor; per-module roles refine it. From Settings → Users & Permissions, each member’s card carries a tier per module — Viewer, Member, Manager, or Owner. Some modules rename the tiers to fit their staff (Glass: Technician, Dispatcher, Admin).

Read-only and scoped books access

Set a user’s Books tier to Viewer for read-only access to the whole Books module — every page and report, without the buttons that change anything. To limit an outside reader to specific projects, give them a books scope on their user card instead. Admins are exempt from scopes by design, so scope a Member, not an Admin. See Sharing Books.

Impersonation

Admins can view the app as another user to troubleshoot or verify permissions. From Settings → Users & Permissions, click View as [User] next to a team member. A yellow banner across the top confirms you’re impersonating; click Stop Viewing to return. Impersonation is logged in the audit trail (who, when, and what was done while impersonating).

Email

The reply-to address and sender name used on outgoing emails (estimates, invoices, credit memos). The Signature block here appears at the bottom of every outgoing message.

PDF & Documents

Logo, footer text, and page options for generated PDFs.

Cost Centers

The accounting buckets the ledger is tagged against — overhead, R&D, and per-entity centers. Use these when spend needs a home that isn’t a property, project, or job. Read-only, no-login report links scoped to specific projects or a legal entity. See Sharing Books.

Agent Tokens

Bearer tokens for the book CLI and the claude.ai connectors. Review what’s issued, when each expires, and revoke any of them. See Zeno in Claude.

Notifications

Which notifications show in your bell and which reach you by email, one row per event (chat, expenses, inbox, practice, tasks). Bell is on and email is off until you change them. Daily digest rolls the emails you’ve turned on into one morning summary.

Zeno usage

AI Bookkeeper token consumption against your monthly cap.

Items

Line-item templates used by estimates, invoices, and bills — name, description, default unit price, default category (GL account). If an item is missing a category, documents that use it will save as drafts until the category is filled in.

Tasks

Which columns the task list shows and how they’re displayed.

Rental

Rent due dates, grace periods, and collection settings.

Property Info Labels

Rename the property-info fields — electric, gas, parcel ID, and the rest — to whatever your team calls them.

Practice

GL fallbacks, engagement auto-spawn, and the signature and invoicing providers.

Glass

The daily digest recipient for the end-of-day recap email, GLAXIS credentials, and per-shop pricing. See Glass.

Bank Feeds

Connect bank and credit card accounts via Plaid, map each feed to a GL account (or expense account, for cards), and assign cardholders for company credit cards.

Integrations

Enable and configure QuickBooks, Manager.io, or Quo / OpenPhone from Settings.

Modules

Operational modules — Rental, Development, Contractor, Practice, Glass, Expenses, and Budgeting — can each be turned on or off. Organization-wide modules Tasks & Notes, Inbox, Chat, and Bookkeeper can also be turned on or off. Books is always on. Module toggles are managed by Zeno super admins, not org admins. Disabled modules and features disappear from the sidebar and the Inbox module tabs.

Billing

Subscription and payment settings appear in Settings → Billing for the organization’s primary billing user. Super admins also have separate admin-level views for aggregate billing and usage.
