Campaigns is for email newsletters and announcements. Your AI drafts and designs each issue from your style guide, you review it in the app, and nothing goes to a list until a person approves the send. You can work it two ways, and most teams mix them. The app is where you review, approve, and manage your audience. Your AI, connected through Zeno in Claude, does the writing and design and can do most of the rest when you ask.

Turning Campaigns on

Campaigns isn’t offered at signup. Zeno turns it on for your organization. Once it’s on, Campaigns appears in the sidebar, and while you’re in it, its pages are listed underneath.

How an issue goes out

  1. Set up your style guide. Fill in your look and feel, organization facts, and dos and don’ts, or have your AI propose them from past newsletters. See Style guide.
  2. Ask your AI for a draft. “Draft this month’s newsletter about the spring fair and new office hours.” There’s no New campaign button: issues start from your AI or from a template. See Building an email.
  3. Review it. Open Preview & Design to see it on desktop and mobile, and ask your AI for changes.
  4. Send yourself a test. Click Send Test.
  5. Choose the audience. Pick a segment in the To: line. See Audience.
  6. Clear the checks and approve. Click Review & Send, resolve anything on the Checks tab, and approve it to send now or at a set time. See Sending and approval.
  7. Read the report. See Reports.

Templates

Save an issue’s design as a template with Save Template on All campaigns, or ask your AI. Library → Templates lists your saved templates; Use Template starts a new draft from one. Templates are your organization’s own; there are no built-in ones. To reuse a sent issue, click Duplicate. The copy is a new draft named “Copy of” the original, with the same audience.

What your AI can and can’t do

Your AI can, without an extra approval click in the app:
  • draft, design, duplicate, and template issues
  • change the brand kit and style guide
  • manage lists, contacts, tags, custom fields, and segments
  • send a test email to one address
  • set up a subject-line test or a welcome email
  • take a scheduled campaign off the schedule, or turn a welcome email off
These need a person in the app:
  • Sending to a list. Your AI requests the send and gives you the approval link. See Sending and approval.
  • Switching a signup form on, since it publishes a public page that sends confirmation emails
  • Unsubscribing or removing contacts in bulk
  • Checks that need a person’s review
Every action your AI takes runs as you, with your access, and is recorded under your name.
