Payment links that don't rot, and a demo you can just open

Pay links that survive an amendment, auto-emailed receipts with the PDF attached, and sending from your own domain. Plus a fully synthetic, resettable demo organization with no signup in front of it.

Product updatePayments

An invoice’s payment link used to be tied to the invoice record as it stood when the email went out. Amend the invoice, void and reissue it, or renumber it, and the link a customer had in their inbox stopped resolving. Customers do not re-read your emails. They click the last one they can find.

Pay links resolve through a stable reference that survives amendments, so the link in a June email opens whatever that invoice has become. Alongside that:

  • Stripe Checkout works in the pay-link flow, in addition to the embedded form.
  • The link renders as a button in the email instead of a naked URL, which is easier to click and less likely to be eaten by a mail client.
  • Paying triggers an automatic receipt email with the receipt PDF attached and a link back to the confirmation page.
  • The confirmation page carries receipt and invoice downloads, what was paid, and against what.
  • Generated subscription invoices can be auto-emailed on an opt-in toggle, so recurring billing runs without someone pressing send.

Contractor invoices carry the payment link in the UI as well as in the emailed copy, and an organization can send all of this from its own domain, through a per-org custom sending domain verified in Postmark.

A demo with no form in front of it

You can open Zeno without talking to us. The demo organizations are fully synthetic, seeded with a coherent set of books, and reset on a schedule, so you can post, void, reconcile, and break things without consequence. There’s a Try the demo login with no password and no signup. Chat and Tasks & Notes are enabled alongside books, because watching the parts talk to each other is most of the point.

It’s the application itself, running against fake data.

Bank feeds, two providers

Bank feeds run Plaid alongside Stripe Financial Connections. Each feed account shows which provider it’s on, and an account can be converted from one to the other without losing its history. Institution coverage differs between the two, so the right choice depends on your bank.
