Prepared financial statements, on demand

Balance Sheet and P&L rebuilt as prepared-statement PDFs, AR/AP aging and per-property account statements, full-form customer and vendor pages, and sales-tax filings with entity registration.

ReportsBooks

A ledger is only as useful as the statements you can pull out of it. With the books running on Zeno’s own general ledger, this week went into the outputs: documents you can hand to an owner, a lender, or an accountant without reformatting them first.

Balance sheet and P&L as prepared statements

The Balance Sheet and Profit & Loss PDFs were rebuilt as prepared-statement output, with a section hierarchy, subtotals that roll up correctly, period headers, and typography that reads as a finished document. Generate one for a property, a project, or the whole organization and it’s ready to send as it is.

Aging and account statements

Two new exports: AR and AP aging, with per-tenant subtotals showing who is behind and by how much, and per-property account statements that walk an owner through activity over a period. The PDF generator underneath was refactored along the way, so every statement Zeno produces shares one look.

Customers and vendors get full pages

Creating a customer or vendor used to mean a cramped modal. Both open as full-form pages now, with an editable type and a “+ New” action menu on their detail views. Invoices gained a header-actions bar and a dedicated PDF endpoint, so the invoice document is one click from anywhere the invoice is referenced.

Sales tax filings and entity registration

Organizations that file sales tax can register the legal entity in Zeno and track filings against it. It’s the first step from “the ledger knows what you collected” to “here’s the return you owe,” with no spreadsheet in between.

The new statements are available across all three modules. If you’d like help wiring up a recurring owner packet, reach out: [email protected].
