Faster entry in the account register

The Add Transaction modal now carries full customer/vendor/GL pickers, inline splits, and receipt attachment at the point of entry.

Product updateBooks

A small one, but the kind of thing you feel every day. The “Add Transaction” flow on the account register was a stripped-down modal. Fine for a quick deposit, frustrating the moment you needed to pick a customer, split across accounts, or attach the receipt that justifies the line.

The full form, inline

Add Transaction carries the same pickers you get everywhere else in Zeno: customer and vendor lookup, property and project scoping, GL account selection, and inline splits. Anything you can record on a posted invoice or bill, you can record against the register without leaving it.

Receipts attach at the point of entry

Drop a receipt or supporting document onto the transaction as you create it. The attachment travels with the register row and links back to the document center, so the line and its paperwork are entered in one motion.

Where the time goes

Bookkeeping isn’t mostly big quarterly events. It’s hundreds of small entries that each take a few seconds longer than they should. A register line that used to need a second screen and a follow-up now takes one pass.
