Team chat, mobile app, and Quo sync
Built-in team chat with #entity references, install Zeno as a mobile app, and two-way contact sync with Quo.
Three things landed last week that change how Zeno feels to use hour to hour.
Team chat
Zeno has a Slack-style chat built in: messages, threads, file attachments, presence indicators, unread badges in the sidebar, and notifications that fire on @mentions rather than on every message in a busy channel. The part worth calling out is that # references work the way they do in tasks and notes. Drop #tenant, #vendor, or #project into a message and it becomes a link to that record, so a conversation about a bill can point at the bill.
Install Zeno on your phone
Zeno is a Progressive Web App. From your phone’s browser, “Add to Home Screen” gives you an app icon, a full-screen launch, and offline caching for the routes you’ve already visited. Customers have been asking when we’d ship a mobile app. This is it, with no app store and no install step.
The interface was worked over for mobile in parallel: vendors, invoices, payments, expenses, the inbox, and the matching workbench all have mobile layouts.
Quo contact sync
Our Quo integration keeps contacts in sync across the two systems. Tenants, buyers, and vendors created in Zeno are pushed to Quo with custom fields (Customer Type, Vendor Type, Property, Project), so you can see who’s calling and what they’re connected to before you pick up. Inactive contacts are flagged “Former” instead of deleted, so the history stays.
