One inbox for every document
A single inbox for bills, receipts, statements, and compliance docs, with Gemini Vision parsing, classification on arrival, full-text search, and a vendor compliance portal.
Bills, rent checks, vendor statements, compliance docs, and expense receipts used to land in module-specific queues, each with its own form and its own quirks. They all flow through a single inbox now, get parsed in the background, and route to the record they belong to.
Forward anything to inbox@
Each organization has its own inbox email address. Forward a vendor bill, drop a check scan, attach a receipt: Zeno picks it up, parses it, and files it. Email attachments come through with the original message preserved, so you can see who sent what and when.
Gemini Vision reads the paper, Claude covers the misses
We replaced the old Tesseract OCR pipeline with Gemini Vision, with Claude as an automatic fallback when Gemini hiccups. Extraction improved for vendor names, line items, dates, totals, check numbers, and payer details, including on photos of crumpled paper. Vendor statements carrying multiple invoices are split out automatically, credit memos included.
Classification and routing on arrival
Documents are classified when they land: invoice or bill, receipt or statement, rent check or construction payment. Zeno matches them against existing vendors, customers, and projects. A known vendor gets its line items proposed. A recognized project gets the document routed there. Anything ambiguous stays in the queue, showing what Zeno has worked out so far.
Full-text search in the Document Center
Every parsed document is searchable across its OCR text, vendor, property, project, and linked entity. The Document Center is where you go to find “that COI from October” without remembering which folder it landed in.
Vendor compliance portal
Vendors don’t have to email you their W-9s and insurance certificates. Zeno sends a magic link to their inbox, they upload through a portal, and the documents land in your inbox tagged to that vendor. Expiration dates are tracked, and reminders go out before a certificate lapses.
The unified inbox is live for all organizations. Questions or feedback? [email protected].
