Financial Timeline updates: February 2026
QB invoice numbers and applied invoice tags now visible directly on the tenant Financial Timeline.
Two updates to the tenant Financial Timeline, both aimed at the same thing: answering a tenant’s question about an invoice or a payment without opening QuickBooks.
QB invoice numbers on invoice lines
Each invoice row shows the QuickBooks invoice number next to the invoice badge, for example “QB #58562” or “QB #58539”. The ZenoRent invoice number and its QB reference sit on the same line.
That helps most during reconciliation, or when a tenant calls about one specific invoice.
Applied invoices on payment lines
Each payment shows which ZenoRent invoices it was applied to, as small blue tags underneath the payment details.
A check applied to January’s invoice and a second check applied to December’s each show their target. When one payment covers several invoices, each tag also shows the amount applied to that invoice.
The questions this answers
Property managers get asked:
- “Which QuickBooks invoice does this ZenoRent invoice correspond to?”
- “What invoices did this payment cover?”
- “Is this invoice paid or still outstanding?”
Answering used to mean switching systems or clicking into individual records. The Financial Timeline now shows dates, amounts, QB references, and payment applications in one view.
