# Quo / OpenPhone

> Contact sync between Zeno and your phone workspace.

Quo / OpenPhone is Zeno's contact-sync integration for your phone workspace. When the module is enabled, customer and vendor contacts from Zeno are pushed into the connected phone system so your team can call and text them with full context.

Only contacts sync. Invoices, bills, and payments stay in Zeno.

## What syncs

* **Customers** and **Vendors** (non-internal) from Zeno → Quo contacts
* Custom fields on each contact: **Customer Type**, **Vendor Type**, **Property**, **Project**
* Contacts that go inactive are prefixed with **"Former"** on their type field, so they're easy to spot in search

## How the sync works

* **Event-driven** — any write to a customer or vendor record queues a push. Latency is about a second.
* **Retry sweeper** — a periodic job picks up anything stuck at `pending` or `failed` and retries it, so records aren't lost when the Quo API is briefly unavailable.

## Setup

Enable the module in **Settings → Integrations → Quo / OpenPhone** and paste the API key.

Once configured, the first save on any customer or vendor pushes it to Quo. Backfilling existing records in bulk is not yet exposed in the UI — ask an admin to run the sync script.
